With several upcoming wildlife photography trips on the horizon, it was time to dust off the camera equipment and get in some practice at Emerald Downs. Roaming grizzly bears and tigers are difficult to track down in Auburn, so we headed to the local horse race track. While not fans of the sport, and absolutely not the wagering type, we figured after over twenty years living in Auburn without a visit, it was a good place to practice and one way to support the local tribe.
