At the end October, we spent two days with Jen, who is the owner of Wild Horse Photo Safaris, out of Tooele Utah. Our objective was to photograph the wild Onaqui Mustang horses. If you have any interest in horses and photography, this is an absolute must do. Jen has an amazing knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for the Onaqui wild horses. Molly and I spent two days with Jen photographing both groups of the herd. As with any wildlife photography … patience and persistence pays off. Jen’s expertise of the horse’s behavior helped position us to capture some excellent images. The horses are beautiful and can be much more active than we had anticipated. The landscape is impressive and provides that quintessential ‘western’ look. Below are quite a few images from our adventure.
