Spring Blooms in the Skagit Valley

Spring has sprung in the Skagit Valley of Western Washington. The tulip and daffodil fields were in full bloom with a minimal amount of mud. An early morning arrival in the valley provided an opportunity to see the geese migrating north while the resident eagles patiently waited for the hordes of visiting tourists to fly away. A beautiful day last week has been followed this week by cold, rain, and snow. Just a typical spring in the Pacific Northwest.
