After cancelling another international trip to Cyprus and Greece due to COVID issues this month, it was time to ‘punt’ and spend a few days in Leavenworth Washington, a Bavarian themed town in the Cascades. On the positive side … skipping multiple COVID tests and lengthy ‘masked’ flights. On the negative side … potentially more serious health issues expected due to massive amounts of schnitzel and beer. There were not a lot of fall colors yet … but autumn is definitely in the air.
